Welcome to Hong Kong 101 Project wiki

This wiki is a collaborative effort to create and maintain a truly searchable database for journalists in and out of Hong Kong. It is a collection of news reporters' notes and resources, intended to be used as a stylebook, an encyclopedia, a who’s who, a dictionary, maps, a telephone directory and contact lists (of public figures), etc, for research, news gathering, writing, editing, page designing, and all other activities involved in journalistic works.

Getting started

  • Anyone can search and read the content on this wiki.
  • To be a registered user (for adding and editing pages), you need to be associated with the Department of Journalism at Hong Kong Baptist University. Please contact the Hong Kong 101 Project coordinator, personally, if you would like a user account.
  • Consult the Reader's Guide and the Editor's guide for information on using the wiki software.
